These terms cover access to this hosted Asterix instance. The open-source software license remains available separately in the source repository.
Service operator

Your account
You are responsible for protecting your linked Google account and activity performed through your Asterix session. Do not share access to this private workspace.
Mailbox authority
Connect only mailboxes and aliases you own or are authorized to use. You remain responsible for the messages you access or send and for complying with the policies of each connected mail provider.
Acceptable use
Do not use Asterix for spam, phishing, malware, credential theft, unlawful surveillance, harassment, or attempts to bypass service, network, or provider limits. Automated sending must respect applicable law and the receiving provider’s rules.
Service operation
Availability, mailbox compatibility, storage, and limits may change to preserve security and reliability. Access may be suspended for abuse, compromise, legal necessity, or material risk to other users or infrastructure.
Your data
Your use is also governed by the Privacy Policy. You retain responsibility for source mailbox backups and provider retention. Removing Asterix data does not necessarily remove data from the upstream mail server.
Software license and warranty
The Asterix source code is distributed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 as stated in the repository. To the extent permitted by law, the hosted service and software are provided without warranties not expressly stated here.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by French law, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country. Parties should first contact the operator to seek an amicable resolution; competent courts are determined by applicable procedural and consumer law.
Updates
Continued use after a notified material update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Last updated: 29 August 2026.
